Board of Directors Elections

Nominations for Regional Directors are now open!

Are you a passionate and motivated member in British Columbia or Alberta? Now is your opportunity to step forward and make a difference in our industry. Regional Director elections will be held in both provinces. Regional Directors serve a three-year term, during which they actively participate in board meetings, help shape strategic initiatives, and represent the voices of members in their region.

Are you interested? Read on to make sure you are prepared!

Candidate Requirements

All candidates must:
  • Have a primary place of business located in the region they wish to represent
  • Be nominated by someone in their region
  • Hold the AMPC or AMP designation (or commit to earning the AMPC within the first year)
  • Understand the Business Grouping Limitation*

*In order to ensure diverse representation on the Board, and to ensure there is no possibility of any one group being deemed to have excessive influence or control over the affairs of the Association, the Bylaws limit representation of any “Business Group” (Schedule A of the Bylaws) to no more than four (4) Regional Directors. This limitation is achieved through the nomination process, thus ensuring any successful nominee is fully compliant regardless of election results.
